Take the I-215 southbound exit and continue south until you reach the 2100 south eastbound exit. Who We Are

The Light Source was formed in April of 1988 by Dennis Wood and Dan Shea. We began with four highly qualified people and have grown to 16 professionals. Initially, the Agency acquired the Cooper Lighting group as its first product line to represent and then added independent manufacturers shortly thereafter. We started the company with an enthusiastic spirit, incorporating ideas that our customers were ready to embrace. Over the years, our blend of stock flow and project business has contributed to our goal of becoming a well balanced agency. We are aligned with key distributor partners and have established strong relationships with the specification community.

Sales

Our sales group consists of highly trained experienced lighting professionals. We are available to assist specifiers, distributors and contractors with design ideas and proven lighting concepts. We consistently demonstrate, and promote the sale of the newest products as they are released. Our salespeople are available to provide training seminars on our products and their applications.

Quotations

Our quotations department is trained to respond to your requests in a timely fashion. We are prepared to generate budget pricing during the early design stages of projects and offer competitive pricing at bid time. We strive to provide clear and concise information on project bids.

Order Coordinators

Our order coordinators are highly motivated to take care of your orders, follow-up requests, expediting and shipping information. You will find us second to none with helpful attitudes and a willingness to assist with your needs. If order problems do arise, we know how to handle them efficiently and provide service beyond what you would expect.

Applications

Our applications department is setup to receive your project information in auto-cad format by disk or e-mail. Whether your request calls for a simple layout or a detailed point by point, we are able to respond quickly and provide state of the art drawings.

Coverage Area

The Light Source covers the entire State of Utah for all our manufacturers. The counties of Elko, Eureka, and White Pine are covered in Nevada; Lincoln and Uintah counties are covered in Wyoming for most of our manufacturers.
